A compact (6″ x 3″), high performance lab appliance. This gas operated hot plate provides an efficient infrared heat source that can be used anywhere, without the need for an electric outlet. The self contained gas chamber is easily refilled with standard butane lighter fuel. The heat output is fully adjustable, up to a maximum of 1100° C (2000° F). Features solid state push button auto ignition, infrared ceramic heating burner, and an optional, available beaker stand.
